Our research efforts focus on materials for optoelectronic devices like solar cells and LEDs. We use optical and electrical characterization techniques to measure nonlinear processes like carrier recombination and space-charge effects in next-generation semiconductors. We are exploring low-cost and high-efficiency solar cell materials. With a high degree of control over the spacial dimensions of thin-films, we aim to construct electroluminescent devices with resonant cavities at visible wavelengths.

Join us in exploring the world of materials and device physics at UVM!
