About the Lab
Our research efforts focus on materials for optoelectronic devices like solar cells and LEDs.
We use optical and electrical characterization techniques to measure nonlinear processes like carrier recombination and space-charge effects in next-generation semiconductors.
We are exploring low-cost and high-efficiency solar cell materials.
With a high degree of control over the spacial dimensions of thin-films, we aim to construct electroluminescent devices with resonant cavities at visible wavelengths.
Join us in exploring the world of materials and device physics at UVM!
